Ken Nance Law - Estate Planning Process
Our Estate Planning process is comprised of an initial consultation to discuss the client’s goals, wishes, and objectives for the disposition of their estate. This includes planning for incapacity and death.
We help the client plan for the disposition of their assets to beneficiaries, including real estate, personal property, business interests, retirement accounts, IRAs, brokerage accounts, life insurance, vehicles, and most everything else.
We help the client devise a plan for guardians of any minor children and trusts/testamentary trusts to manage assets to take care of minors or incapacitated beneficiaries.
Most estate plans include a Will, Financial Power of Attorney, Healthcare Power of Attorney, and a Living Will. Many plans will also include a Revocable Living Trust - based on the client’s needs.
Once we put together a desired plan and strategy, our clients meet with us to sign their documents and review any concerns and questions they may have.
We welcome the opportunity to help you create or update your estate plan!
